Customer Complaints about unpaid Spiffs/ Rebates by Comfort 1 Group Heating and Cooling or Orland Park IL

Gabe Montoya has a history of telling customers they will get a cash spiff in a few days or weeks after an install is completed. I believe he calls these "spiffs" to avoid falling under the regulations of a Rebates, but in reality it's a rebate see the below Google AI descriptions of Spiffs and Rebates.

According to Google AI a Rebate is: "A "rebate" is a partial refund or discount that a customer receives after purchasing a product or service, usually requiring them to submit proof of purchase, essentially acting like a delayed discount where the full price is paid upfront and a portion is returned later as a refund; it's a marketing strategy used to incentivize sales by offering customers a bit of money back after buying something."

Gabe dose state the the funds are accumulated by his company for sales volume. But once he is offering money back to a customer for purchasing a product regardless of how he receives it, it should then be designated as a rebate and handled as such.

Comfort 1 Group Heating and Cooling has an office Membership in Orland Park IL on 94th Ave. with Regus Office Rental. They mainly service the Chicago area market but have talked about branching out to Springfield IL and Cleveland OH and markets.

We have talked to a number of customers that purchased big systems from Comfort 1 Group Heating and Cooling and were promised rebates as much as $6000.00. They were told they would receive the rebate in 30 days. That was soon pushed back to 90 days. The rebates were never paid.
