Gabe and his companies have been making false promises to customers and contractors alike. The owner "Gabe" or Gabriel Montoya has a long history of ripping people off. This site is new in January of 2025 and a work in progress. I wanted to get the site up and running in hope of keeping anyone else from getting taken advantage of. We will be posting a long list of stories of people that have been ripped off by Gabe Montoya of Crestwood Illinois.

Gabe is known to promise customers great deals with spiff/ rebates that will be sent to them after the install and the job is paid in full. After making these promises he keeps pushing back the date to get the rebate back. My guess is he hopes that eventually the customer will give up asking. Gabe also tells contractors how they are going to make nothing but money by working with him. He convinced contracts to start jobs, having the contractor purchase material for the job in many cases. After the contract states installing he may give a small initial payment. In some cases these checks bounce but by the time the contract releases the job is done and they are stuck trying to get paid by Gabe. 

Gabe has many checking accounts he is known to write bad checks from. It's easy for Gabe to get checks his wife works for Carousel Checks in Palos Hills IL. I myself have gotten a number of checks that have been returned NSF from different accounts.

Gabe is known to write a check and tell you not to cash it for a week or two. As the date gets closer to when you can cash the check he will call and tell you he needs to replace the check with a new one from another account. Then tell you again not to cash it for two weeks. This process repeats over and over.

Things he tells everyone; you're his best friend, you feel like a brother to him, trusts you like a brother and you should trust him like a brother, no one have ever lost money with him, (Funny we have a long list of people who have).

If you are thinking about business with him you better be carful. Get your money upfront and be sure it is a cashiers check. Cash it before you buy any material or start work.
